How it works

Upload anything.Learn it easily.

Most of what you need to know is already written down somewhere — your notes, your slides, the docs at work. Testudy reads what you give it, explains the key ideas simply, and turns them into something you can learn from and finish.

Try it without an account. Your first one is free.

Three steps

The short version, before the walkthrough below.

Step 1

Upload anything

Notes, slides, PDFs, links, recordings

  • Say in one sentence what you want to be able to do
  • Drop in what you have — messy is fine
  • Or start from one of the common goals
Step 2

Get the insights

The key ideas, explained simply

  • Each idea linked to the page it came from
  • Ask anything and get the answer with its source
  • Where your material is silent, it says so
Step 3

Learn it your way

A course, flashcards, quizzes, or audio

  • A short course you can actually finish
  • Practice after every step, with feedback
  • It comes back before you forget it

What you'll see

Each part of the process, one screen at a time.

Start with what you have

Upload

Drop in notes, slides, PDFs, links or a recording. Say what you want to be able to do. Testudy reads it all and builds around it.

  • Files, links, notes, recordings
  • Tick what should count
  • One folder per topic or team

What your material actually says

Insights

The key ideas, laid out simply, each one pointing at the page it came from. Where your material doesn't cover something, Testudy says so instead of filling the gap.

  • Key ideas, grouped
  • Every idea links to its source
  • Gaps stated plainly

Answers you can check

Ask

Ask in your own words. The answer shows the exact passage it came from — hover to read it, click to open the document there. Turn on web lookup when your material isn't enough.

  • The passage, not just the answer
  • Web lookup, each claim linked
  • Says when it doesn't know

Something you can finish

Course

A short course built from your material: chapters, then steps you study, practise and check. Write the next step when you need it.

  • Chapters and steps
  • Study · Practise · Check
  • Share with one person or a team

For what isn't written down

Coach

Describe the job and answer a few questions. The coach works out what matters, runs you through it, and writes the steps down at the end.

  • Asks before it assumes
  • Practice you can try
  • Ends with written steps

So it sticks

Review

What you studied comes back for a quick review at the right moment, so it stays known.

  • Due today
  • Across everything you're learning
  • Listen on the go

Who it's for

The same three steps, whether you're learning for yourself or getting a team up to speed.

Learning for yourself

  • Pass an exam, learn a skill, prep an interview
  • Study from your own notes instead of re-reading
  • Keep what you learned

Teaching a class

  • Turn your slides and readings into something students finish
  • Practice and quick checks per step
  • See who's keeping up

Running a team

  • Get new people up to speed from what you already have
  • Get it out of one person's head before they leave
  • See who's finished

Your first ten minutes

What actually happens after you upload something.

1

Say in one sentence what you want, and who it's for

2

Drop in what you have

3

See what Testudy found, and answer two or three questions

4

Ask something you'd normally ask a colleague or a tutor

5

Start the course, or talk it through with the coach

6

Share it, or keep it to yourself

Common questions

About how it works. Pricing questions are on the pricing page.

Do I need to upload anything?

No. Describe what you want and the coach asks the rest. Your own material makes the result yours — about your module, your job, your team.

How do I know the answers are right?

Every answer shows the passage it came from. If your material doesn't say, Testudy tells you instead of guessing.

What happens to my files?

They stay in your folder. Nothing is used until you tick it, and you can remove anything at any time.

Can I use it with a team or a class?

Yes. Share with one person by link, or with everyone in your team, and see who has finished.

What does it cost?

Free to start: enough each month to turn your own files into something you can finish. Paid plans give you more room.

Why Testudy

Chat tools answer from the internet and sound sure. Testudy answers from your material and shows you the sentence it came from. That's the whole difference.
